Clinical Trial Evaluates Effect Of Yoga On Quality Of Life In Men Newly Diagnosed With Localized Prostate Cancer
The ASCO Post (11/30) reports “a pilot randomized clinical trial” aimed “to evaluate the effect of yoga on quality of life in men newly diagnosed with localized prostate cancer.” The trial, published in Prostate Cancer and Prostatic Diseases, “enrolled 29 men who were awaiting prostatectomy. Fourteen were randomly assigned to participate in yoga and 15 were assigned to the standard of care.”
